About Sagarika

Sagarika - Seaweed Extract Concentrate (28% w/w) is an organic bio-stimulant manufactured through a globally patented process technology from red & brown marine algae. The product has naturally occurring plant growth regulators such as Auxins, Cytokinins and Gibberellins, essential amino acids, macro & micronutrients. It also contains bio-potash (8-10%) along with quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC) like glycine betaine, choline etc.

Trial Results
Sagarika has been tested by various State Agriculture Institutes and ICAR Institutes to prove its efficacy and has delivered promising results for agricultural application across crops and in all ecological conditions across India.

Sagarika Granules used at 10 kg/Acre increase yield in cotton by 28%

Sagarika - Seaweed Extract Concentrate when applied as foliar spray or on the rhizosphere, stimulates the metabolic function of the plant to enhance nutrient uptake and nutrient use efficiency leading to increase in crop yield and crop quality.

Sagarika is manufactured through a globally patented technology licensed from Central Salt and Marine Chemical Research Institute (CSMCRI), a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India.

Since its introduction it has also been tested by the Central Institute for Cotton Research, Nagpur and they have reported that soil application of Sagarika Granules at 10Kg/Acre increased yield in cotton by 28% while successfully being able to reduce chemical fertilizer application by 25%. The principal scientist quoted that

Sagarika is a boon to cotton farmers to increase their yield with reduction in cost of cultivation.

Many other trials apart from this clearly indicate that when ‘Sagarika’ is used in conjunction with a regular dose of fertilizer, the fertilizer usage can be reduced by 25% without any adverse impact on the crop yield and productivity but with a significant positive impact on the farmers’ income. Due to its stress relieving property, Sagarika can play a major role in improving the sustainability of rain fed agriculture.
